Refund policy

Eligibility

Refunds are available only for fees actually received by Cloudpacketbase for Observer Desk, a Cohort Seat, a billed workshop day, or a Studio Partnership. Complimentary seats, guest reviewer honoraria, and unpaid reservations are not refundable because no fee was taken.

Timeframe

Write to info@cloudpacketbase.digital as soon as you know you cannot proceed. The clock starts on the date we receive a complete request (name, invoice number, programme, reason). Requests made more than thirty (30) days after the programme end date are out of time, except where Thai consumer law requires otherwise.

Full refund

A full refund of tuition (excluding non-refundable items below) is issued if you cancel a Cohort Seat or workshop day at least fourteen (14) full days before the first live session, or if Cloudpacketbase cancels the programme and cannot offer a dated alternative you accept within sixty days.

Observer Desk: full refund if you request it within seven (7) days of first access and you have not downloaded more than two recordings.

Partial refund

Cohort Seat cancelled fewer than fourteen days before start, or during week one: 50% of tuition, minus any non-refundable items. After week two begins: no tuition refund; you may transfer once to a later cohort within twelve months if space exists (transfer fee THB 1,500 if materials have already been issued).

Studio Partnership: if the Field Lab day has not occurred, unused days in the quarter may be refunded pro rata minus 15% administration. After the Field Lab day, remaining readout work is non-refundable if we remain ready to perform.

Non-refundable items

Bank transfer charges paid by Cloudpacketbase, printed Field Lab booklets already produced, third-party venue deposits we cannot recover, and the THB 1,500 transfer fee. Taxes remitted to the Thai Revenue Department on an invoice that will not be credited are handled case by case with a tax credit note where the law allows.

Refund process

1. Email info@cloudpacketbase.digital with invoice number and reason. 2. We confirm eligibility within five Bangkok working days. 3. If approved, we issue a credit note. 4. Funds return by the original payment method where possible; otherwise by bank transfer to a Thai account in the payer’s name.

Processing time

Once approved, expect the credit note immediately and the funds within ten (10) Bangkok working days. International returns may take longer depending on your bank. We will send the transfer reference when it leaves our account.

Refund method

Same rail as payment: Thai bank transfer, or the card acquirer used on the invoice. We do not refund in cash at the Bangphlat studio and we do not refund in cryptocurrency. Currency conversion differences are not topped up.

Cancellation by Cloudpacketbase

If faculty illness or venue failure forces us to cancel and we cannot reschedule, you receive a full refund of tuition including items that would otherwise be non-refundable, except irrecoverable third-party venue costs we disclose in advance. You may instead accept Observer Desk access at no extra fee.

Exceptions

No refund is due if we end participation for serious misconduct under the Terms (harassment, PII extraction, resale of seats). Force majeure that prevents you from attending (for example airport closure) is treated as a transfer first; if no cohort runs within twelve months we refund the unused tuition minus non-refundable items. Statutory rights under Thai law are not limited by this page.
